When replacing the timing belt, which is done every 62,000 miles, you must also replace the water pump, the belt tensioner, and the corresponding bearing. It is advisable to lift the vehicle on a ramp, remove the front right wheel (passenger side), and the side engine mount to access the timing belt area. Once the covers are removed, it is crucial to align the timing marks (there are notches on the cover and dots on the toothed pulleys) before removing the old belt and to keep them in position during the installation of the new one.
