To reset the Service light on the instrument panel of the Chevrolet Cruze, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch so that you can turn it to power on the instrument panel: once the panel is on, press the accelerator pedal five times in quick succession, all the way down.

At this point, turn the key in the ignition switch again to power on the instrument panel: this will allow you to confirm that the Service light has been reset upon powering on the instrument panel.
