How do you replace the ECU of the Citroën C4 Picasso?

In order to replace the ECU of the Citroën C4 Picasso, you need to open the hood of the car, so that you can access the components inside the engine compartment: on the right side of the compartment, just below the windshield, you will be able to locate the ECU. The ECU must be removed from its location by loosening the screws that hold it in place and disconnecting the power cables; this way you can insert the new ECU so that it is properly secured and connected, then verify that everything is functioning correctly.
