The necessary tool for this series of operations is a specific plastic tool that can be found in spare parts shops. If unavailable, a sturdy piece of plastic with rounded edges can be used to avoid leaving marks. Remove the gearshift cover and its plastic panel by prying the edges with the tool. Disconnect the switch wiring and remove it from the gearshift lever. Carefully remove the console frame by prying on all sides, then remove the dashboard with the air vents by gently pulling it out of its housing. Insert the appropriate tools on the sides of the car radio to remove it from the dashboard. Remove all the wiring at the back of the radio until it is completely extracted. Attach the CD player under the glove compartment and run the cables behind the tunnel. Remove the radio antenna and replace it with the GPS antenna by running the cable along the pillar. Alternatively, the antenna works well even if placed on the dashboard under the windshield. Connect the CD player audio cable to the new radio's aux input and connect the power as per the navigator kit's instructions. Reassemble the new console with the radio and navigator and perform a functionality test.
