How to Remove the Gear Knob on Citroen Xsara Picasso

Replace the damaged gear knob on a Citroen Xsara Picasso: first, take the knob in your hands and rotate it left and right until it comes off the gear stick. Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter trim (if it needs replacing). Fit the new leather gaiter with the clips (if removed), then take the new knob and push it onto the stick in the centre console; apply pressure until it locks onto the stick. Finally, test the movement of the knob on the central console stick to ensure it functions correctly.
