How to perform maintenance on a Citroen C3? Here’s how to open the bonnet: pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then slightly lift the engine bonnet and pull up the release lever. Once the engine bonnet is released: lift it up and secure it with the prop rod. Now that the engine bonnet is open, you can carry out your necessary maintenance. To close the bonnet: remove the prop rod and let the bonnet drop down from a minimal height. Ensure it is properly closed.
