The main cause of malfunctioning of a Citroen vehicle remote control is a worn-out battery. To replace the battery in a 2018 Citroen C3 remote control, we need to press the button on the side of the remote to remove the cover. After removing the cover, we take out the old battery and insert the new one; the recommended model is the Panasonic CR 2032, which is three volts. After replacing the battery, we close the cover. We then position ourselves in front of the vehicle to test its functionality. If the remote control does not work, it may be necessary to reprogram it either at a workshop or independently by following one of our tutorials.
