How to remove the headlights and replace the lens on a Citroen C3

Model: Citroen C3 FC, FN - Years 2002-2009

Start by removing the main screws on the front headlight: there are 4 screws of 10 mm (but depending on the model, they could also be Torx T20/T30): 2 are at the top (behind the grille of the bonnet) and 2 are at the bottom (behind the bumper). There are two retaining tabs on the sides of the headlight: gently pull them to release. To access the lower screws, it is necessary to partially remove the bumper by loosening the cardboard/felt panel and releasing the clips. To replace the lens, heat the sealing glue around the headlight with a heat gun (or a hairdryer); heat evenly until the glue softens, and carefully separate the lens from the body. Remove the reflective lens from the old headlight, clean and remove glue residue from the grooves of the headlight body (available on AliExpress with code 1005012130411788 for £17.29 + £31.61 shipping). Position the old lens, apply suitable sealant, reassemble carefully, and allow to dry for at least 3 hours. To reassemble, follow the reverse procedure.
