How to Disable the Seatbelt Warning Sound on a Citroen C1

On the Citroen C1, as well as on its siblings, the Toyota Aygo and Peugeot 107, the seatbelt warning sound cannot be permanently disabled through a menu, but it can be disabled for the current journey using this procedure: Turn on the ignition, press the button to the left of the speedometer (the one usually used to reset the trip odometer) and hold it for about 5-10 seconds; you should hear a "beep" (or see the light flashing differently), then release the button and fasten the seatbelt. Turn off the ignition and turn it back on. This way, the warning sound remains off for that journey. If you turn off and restart the car, it will reactivate.
