How to Change the Gear Knob on a Citroen C3

Do you want to replace the gear knob on your Citroen C3? Follow these steps. Remove the plastic trim (leather gaiter with the surrounding frame) from the centre console (where the window switch buttons are) using a lever. Then, grasp the gear knob with your hands and pull it upwards until it disconnects from the shaft (disconnect the power connectors). To install the new knob: slide the gaiter with the plastic frame onto the shaft in the centre console; fit the new gear knob and tighten it. Finally, reattach the plastic trim over the centre console.
