How to Replace the Front Shock Absorbers on a Citroen C3?

To replace the front shock absorbers on a first-generation Citroen C3, park the car on a level surface, loosen the wheel bolts, and safely lift the vehicle. Remove the wheel and free the brake line and ABS wiring supports from the strut. Disconnect the stabiliser bar link, then unscrew the fasteners that connect the strut to the hub. Support the assembly and remove the upper support nuts from the engine bay, then extract the complete strut. Use a suitable spring compressor to compress the spring before removing the upper support. Remove the shock absorber, bump stop, and dust cover, and install the new components. Reassemble the spring and support, gradually release the compressor, and reinstall the strut. Reconnect all fasteners and fit the wheel. Finally, it is advisable to check the wheel alignment.
