Replacing the Front Shock Absorbers on a Citroen C3

Replacing the front shock absorber on your car? Let's see how to fit the shock absorbers on a Citroen C3. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing bolts of the shock absorber at the wheel hub. Lower the car with the column lift and unscrew the bolts located in the engine bay (top of the shock absorber). Pull out the shock absorber from its housing. Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for the installation of the shock absorber onto the spring using the appropriate compression tool. Fit the new shock absorber onto the car in reverse order. Secure the shock absorber in all its parts.
