Start the oil and filter change, which is the basic service, on a Citroen C4 MK2 by ensuring the car is off and parked safely. Unscrew the oil filler cap, then place a suitable container under the oil sump and remove the drain plug. While the used oil drains, replace the oil filter located in the engine bay, beneath the intake hose. Once done, close the oil sump and pour the new engine oil directly into the designated filler.
