How to change the oil and engine filter on a Citroen C4? This guide shows how to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large bolt securing the container cap where the oil filter is located (remove the air filter kit to access the filter) and extract it; position a new one. Lift the car on a jack and unscrew the bolt of the oil sump; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Finally, top up with new fluid and close the bonnet.
