How to replace the diesel filter fitted in a Citroen C5? Let's see in this video how to replace the part. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, lift the front bonnet and secure it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then, using a socket spanner, unscrew the securing bolts located at the sides of the container holding the filter (disconnect the cables and various pipes from the filter). Extract the diesel filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, close the front bonnet.
