Replacing the brake shoes on a Citroen C3

Want to replace the rear brake shoes on your Citroen C3? Here’s how to disassemble and replace them. Unscrew the pins and remove the wheel, then begin unscrewing the caliper pins (using a socket spanner) to detach it from its bracket. Remove the cover from above the drum, then pull the disc towards you with your hands to slide it off the hub. Prepare to disassemble the handbrake shoes from the wheel hub. Clean all dirt and debris from the disassembled parts using brushes. Before reassembly, lubricate the parts. Install the handbrake shoes and the drum cover, then finish by putting the wheel back on.
