Replacing the Key Battery on a Citroen C3

To open the remote key of your Citroen C3, obtain a small flat object, such as a small screwdriver or a plastic wedge, and insert it into the slot at the top of the casing. Then, lever it in the same slot to open the remote in two halves. Once done, remove the circuit board inside and extract the battery, which is now accessible. Insert a new one: it is a CR1620 3 Volt battery, available at hardware stores or large supermarkets. Reassemble the remote, and you're done. As you can see, it is a very simple operation.
