How to Replace the Key Battery on a Citroen C3

If the smart key for your Citroen C3 is malfunctioning or has completely stopped working, you can try replacing the button cell battery inside before considering buying a new key. Before you start, get a small flat-head screwdriver. Insert it into the slot at the bottom of the cover and remove the cover. Right underneath, you will have access to the exhausted battery. Remove it and replace it with a new one. Finally, correctly reassemble the cover and the replacement is complete. Just test the functionality.
