Replacement of front brake pads

Model: Citroen C3 FN, FC - Years 2002-2009

Raise the car with the jack and apply a stand for safety; then remove the front wheel, lever between the disc and the caliper so as to make the piston retract and unscrew the lower fixing pin of the caliper: the upper one will act as a hinge to lift the caliper and extract the old pads. Then apply the new pads, fully retract the piston using a parrot wrench or an arc clamp, reposition the caliper and tighten the relative fixing pin. Once the pads have been replaced on the other wheel as well, pay close attention to the first braking.
