When replacing the cylinder head gasket, it is good practice to also replace the corresponding fixing pins; however, before installation, re-thread the threaded holes with the appropriate tap (use the thread gauge to select the correct pitch), taking care not to let any swarf fall into the cylinders.

Then apply the appropriate sealing paste to the threads and under the head of the pins before installing them, and tighten the cylinder head using both a torque wrench and an angle wrench, following a cross-locking pattern to ensure perfect gasket adherence.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
