However, in this specific model, the battery is covered by a plastic panel that must be removed to replace it. Once done, disconnect the battery terminals, starting with the negative one. Remove the old battery and install the new one, ensuring to reconnect the terminals in the correct order: first the positive terminal, then the negative. Replace the plastic cover and close the engine bay lid.
