Replacing the Remote Battery on a Citroen C3

Over time, the battery that powers the remote control for opening and closing the doors of the Citroen C3 will deplete, and you need to replace it. If present, remove the keyring, press the button to extract the blade, and using a flathead screwdriver, open the plastic shell by acting on the recess on the back. You will find the battery in the part that houses the blade; remove it and replace it with a new CR1620, ensuring the positive side is facing down. Reassemble the two halves and press until you hear a click. Test the remote to verify that the operation was successful.
