How to Reset the Service Light on a Citroen C5

If the service warning light illuminates on the instrument cluster display when you turn on the ignition, it means it's time for maintenance, either due to mileage or time elapsed; in both cases, you must first carry out maintenance by replacing the engine oil, the corresponding filter, and possibly other filters, before resetting the light. This procedure is manual and does not require diagnostic equipment; simply sit in the driver's seat, close all doors, and with the ignition off, press and hold the ODO button below the instrument cluster display, then turn on the ignition: a countdown will appear, at the end of which release the button and turn off the ignition.
