To replace the front headlamp bulb on a Citroen C5, start by turning off the engine and opening the bonnet. Locate the rear of the headlamp that contains the bulb to be replaced.

Disconnect the electrical connector of the bulb by gently pulling it out. Remove the protective cover of the headlamp, which is usually secured with clips or screws. Once the cover is removed, you will find the bulb secured by a spring or clip.

Release the spring or clip to free the bulb. Pull the old bulb out of its housing and replace it with a new one, ensuring not to touch the glass of the new bulb with your fingers, as oil residues can damage it. Insert the new bulb into the housing, reattach the spring or clip to secure it, and reconnect the electrical connector.

Refit the protective cover of the headlamp and ensure it is securely fastened. Finally, close the bonnet and turn on the headlights to check that the new bulb is functioning correctly.
