The steps to replace the battery of the key on a Citroen car are simple and quick. The materials we will need are a flat-head screwdriver and a CR2032 battery. Insert the screwdriver into the key and with a slight lever outward, open the remote. Remove the microchip and by pushing on the sides, remove the battery. Insert the new one inside and complete the replacement by closing the remote, making sure to insert the microchip inside before closing. Then go near the car to test the functioning of the key.
