Change the gear knob on the Citroen Berlingo MK2

To replace the worn gear knob on the Citroen Berlingo, sit in the driver's seat, detach the base of the leather gaiter and lift it up, cut the Velcro strap that secures the gaiter to the base of the knob, lower the base back down and pull the gaiter off the knob.

Grip the knob firmly and pull it off the lever, insert the insert into the lever using a rubber mallet, push the knob onto the insert and, once centred, finish the insertion with the rubber mallet.

Pull the gaiter up and secure it to the base using a Velcro strap, then replace the base of the gaiter in its position and secure it.
