In this video, you will see how to use the blind spot warning function on the Dacia Sandero Stepway. This function is activated using the sensors located on the front and rear bumpers, and it alerts the driver as soon as a vehicle enters the detection field; consequently, a small orange indicator will light up on the external mirror, either on the right or left, to warn of a vehicle overtaking or in an area not visible in the mirror.

The light will start to flash to indicate danger, which occurs when the vehicle is travelling between 19 and 87 miles/h. This device can be activated and deactivated from the multimedia screen under "vehicle settings", then "driving assistance", and then "blind spot warning" to choose between on/off. Remember that the device may have difficulty detecting a particularly long heavy vehicle overtaking you.
