How to use the blind spot warning function on the Sandero Stepway

In this video we can see how to use the blind spot warning function on the Dacia Sandero Stepway. This function is activated using sensors located on the front and rear bumpers, and alerts the driver as soon as a vehicle enters the detection area; consequently, a small orange indicator will light up on the external rearview mirror, whether on the right or left, to warn of the presence of a vehicle overtaking or in a zone not visible in the rearview mirror. The indicator starts flashing to warn of the danger, and this happens when the vehicle is traveling between 30 and 140 km/h. This device can be activated and deactivated from the multimedia screen by selecting "vehicle settings", then "driving assistance" and then "blind spot warning" and choosing between on/off. Please note that the device may have difficulty reading a particularly long heavy vehicle overtaking us.
