How to check the fluid levels of the Dacia Jogger

Let's see how to check the fluid levels in our Dacia Jogger. We open the hood, and with the engine cold, we start by checking the engine oil level, identified by a yellow ring. We remove the dipstick, clean it with a lint-free cloth, reinsert it completely, then remove it again and read the level, which should be below the "max" mark. If it is low, we top up with more oil of the same specification recommended in the manual, by opening the oil cap and adding a little at a time, being careful never to exceed the maximum level. We then check the coolant level, through the semi-transparent sides of the reservoir. Here too, the level should be between "min" and "max". If necessary, top up with fluid of the same color as that in the reservoir. The brake fluid is found in a rather small reservoir near the windshield, visible through the walls of the reservoir. In theory, brake fluid does not get consumed: if it decreases, it means the brake pads are worn out. We top up the oil but plan on replacing the brake pads. In one corner of the engine compartment, we find a reservoir with a blue cap: there is the windshield washer fluid, which should always be filled to the brim with the specific fluid, not tap water, which can freeze in winter and cause damage with limescale.
