How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter of the Dacia Sandero

On the Dacia Sandero, changing the oil is performed safely on level ground, with the engine off and the car properly supported. If you want to use a cleaning additive before the change, add it to the old oil through the upper filler neck and let the engine idle for a short time, then turn it off and proceed with the drain. Check that the old seal does not remain stuck to the seat, clean the mating surface, and prepare the new filter by lightly lubricating the seal with a thin layer of clean oil. Screw the filter on until it is seated and complete the tightening by hand according to the replacement part's instructions, without using levers or excessive force. Return to the engine bay, pour in the new oil according to the specifications and quantity indicated for your engine, then close the cap. Start for a few seconds, turn off, and wait for settling, then check the level with the dipstick and correct with small additions until the correct level is reached.
