Replacing the Engine Air Filter on a Dacia Sandero

Replacing the engine air filter on the Sandero is very simple. Open the bonnet and in the centre of the engine (in front of the battery) is the filter box, which is approximately square. Release the two side clips to detach the cover and pull it out like a drawer (you will also extract the air filter). Check it, and if necessary, replace it with a new one following the manufacturer's specifications, and once repositioned in the drawer, insert it back into the box. Then, replace the outer cover and secure it by engaging the two levers into their slots (you will hear a click when closed).
