How to Repair the Wiper That Doesn't Work on a Dacia Sandero

The problem with this Dacia Sandero is that the wipers work intermittently: pressing or moving the lever sometimes unlocks them. The solution is that the wiper switch (the lever on the steering wheel) is faulty. Therefore, the problem is not the motor, nor the fuses, nor the relay. The switch is easily replaced, and we can find it on Amazon with code B0FTLM9P67 at a price of £20.00 + £1.99 shipping. Remove the two Torx T20 screws under the steering column, take off the upper and lower covers held by clips; disconnect the immobiliser behind the lever, then find the two Torx 15 screws that hold the switch: when it is free, disconnect and remove it. Place the new one in its place and reassemble everything. It is a simple job as there is no need to remove the airbag or steering wheel.
