How to engage reverse gear on the Dacia Duster II?

Model: Dacia Duster HM, MK 2 - Years 2017-2024

On the Dacia Duster II (and most Renault/Dacia models with a 6-speed manual gearbox), engage reverse gear by lifting the ring under the knob and then moving the lever forward to the left. Press the clutch pedal fully; put the gearbox in neutral and grasp the gear knob while pulling upwards on the ring or collar located under the knob itself; it is a metal or plastic ring that slides on the shaft. Keep the ring lifted and move the lever fully to the left (as if to engage first gear, but with the ring pulled up). Now push the lever forward (towards the dashboard); at this point, reverse gear is engaged.
