The service light on the instrument panel indicates that a service is due. It is very important to reset the light at the end of the procedure to update the mileage for the next maintenance. On a 2016 Dacia Duster, the procedure to reset the service light is straightforward. Turn on the instrument panel and press the BC button located on the outer part of the right-hand lever of the steering wheel. Hold the button until the reset option appears on the display. Release the button for a few seconds and press it again until the procedure is complete. If the reset fails, you will need to visit a garage for a diagnostic check; one possible reason for the failed reset could be a malfunction of the oil level sensors.
