How to Change the Fuel Filter in a Dacia Sandero

Detailed instructions - To change the fuel filter in a Dacia Sandero 2, turn off the engine, open the fuel cap, and safely lift the vehicle. Remove the front right wheel and detach the fastenings of the wheel arch lining to access the filter, located behind the wing. Then, remove the metal protection by unscrewing the three fastenings, and position a container under the filter to collect the fuel. Disconnect the fuel lines by pressing the clips of the connectors and carefully sliding them off. Unscrew the fastenings of the bracket, extract the old filter, and install the new one, ensuring the flow direction indicated by the arrow is followed. Reconnect all the hoses, secure the filter to the bracket, and refit the protection and wheel arch lining. After lowering the vehicle, turn the ignition on and off several times to activate the pump and fill the system. Start the engine and check for leaks. The position and procedure may vary depending on the engine type.
