Changing Engine Oil and Oil Filter on Dacia Duster

Model: Dacia Duster HM, MK 2 - Years 2017-2024

First, position the Dacia Duster on a flat surface or on a ramp for safe working conditions. Next, open the bonnet and unscrew the oil filler cap. After this, go to the underside of the vehicle, locate the bolt that seals the oil drain, and after placing a container underneath, unscrew it to let the engine oil drain out. Replace the gasket and re-cap the drain hole. From above, inside the engine bay, locate the oil filter (it is located low, in front of the gearbox) and unscrew it by hand. Replace the gasket and screw on the new filter. Pour in the new oil through the designated filler neck, and you’re done!

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
