Operation: How to replace the third brake light on the Dacia Sandero

I'll briefly explain how to replace the third central brake light bulb on the Dacia Sandero. We consult the use and maintenance manual and see which bulb is required for replacement. Purchased, we open the trunk and identify the third stop, placed at the top center of the rear window. By applying pressure to the two sides we go to remove the protective plastic. Disconnect the bulb holder connector by pulling it outwards. By acting on the lamp holder, we rotate it clockwise in order to release it and extract it. At this point we remove the bulb and replace it with the one purchased, checking that they match. Carrying out the operations in the reverse order, we are going to reassemble everything. We get into the car, make contact with the panel and try to press the brake pedal to see if the replacement has been successful.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes.
