How to Replace the Battery in a Dacia Duster

Removing and replacing the battery in a Dacia Duster is a very simple task that can be done in a few minutes and independently. Start by opening the bonnet of the vehicle and locate the battery, which is found on the right side of the engine compartment. Using a long socket wrench with a 13mm socket, remove the metal support plate of the battery. Continue by removing the nut securing the negative terminal using a socket wrench with a 10mm socket. Using the same wrench, remove the nut securing the positive terminal. Now you can extract the acid tube and finally the battery. To install a new battery, simply follow the same procedure as for removal.
