How to do a complete service on the Dacia Duster

Model: Dacia Duster HS, MK 1 - Years 2010-2017

In this video we can see how to do a complete service on the Dacia Duster MK1; we will change the oil, oil filter, and air filter. From below, we will have to remove the protective cover to remove the oil cap. Remember to drain the oil into a suitable basin, which we will then dispose of at an authorized center. To remove the cover, there are ten bolts with a 10mm head, then we can see the oil filter cartridge, and next to it we have the oil pan with the cap located on one side, and while the oil drains, we change the air filter, which is under the hood. Lift the two side tabs of the air filter housing and pull out the filter. Clean the container well and replace the filter with a new one, then put the housing back in place. Now we replace the oil filter, lubricating the gasket with clean oil, remove the old one (you will also need a basin here) and replace it with the new one. Put a new cap and washer on the oil pan and close the cover. Now it's time to refill the oil from the top: it takes 4.2 liters of synthetic oil SAE 10W40.
