How to Replace the Battery on a Dodge Journey

This video explains the steps for removing a battery on a Dodge Journey (the same applies to the Fiat Freemont). Pay attention to how to proceed. In this vehicle, the battery is not located in the engine bay but in the front bumper (left side). The first step is to loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift, and remove the wheel (for convenience). Then, use a metal trim tool to remove the plastic rivets from the inner wheel arch (left front). Now, unscrew the battery terminal bolts with the appropriate socket wrench. Insert the new battery into the housing and reconnect the terminals, tightening all the rivets of the wheel arch with the screwdriver. Finally, refit the wheel with the respective nuts.
