How to Remove the Instrument Cluster from a Dodge Caliber

Model: Dodge Caliber MK 1 - Years 2006-2012
Part: Instrument cluster

First, open the doors and use a plastic lever to detach the side caps of the dashboard; then remove the gear surround and the central dashboard trim where the air knobs and radio are located (disconnect the connectors to free the component). At this point, remove all the screws securing the upper dashboard (the screws located in the central body, at the sides of the radio housing, inside the glove compartment, and within the side caps, both right and left). Once done, you can detach the covers of the front pillars and the air vent panel on the windscreen; now, using a short screwdriver, unscrew the screws of the dashboard just below the windscreen and then remove the upper cover. Now you can extract the instrument cluster, for which you need to disconnect the cable connectors at the back. For reassembly, follow the reverse of the described operations.
