Don't know how to remove the car's fuel tank to take out the pump? Let's see how to disassemble and replace the fuel pump. Lift the car with a column lift, remove the cover panel of the tank (if present), and unscrew all the securing screws around the tank.

Detach the tank from underneath the car. After removing the tank, disconnect the electrical connectors for the pump. Remove the damaged pump from inside the tank.

Install the new part and reverse the disassembly steps for the tank. Test the operation of the fuel pump at the end of the installation.
