How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Dodge Journey

How to remove the fuel pump from a Dodge Journey (Freemont)? First, disconnect the battery cables, then, remove the tank from the underside of the car (lift the car with a column lift). Use a socket to undo the securing screws around the pump, use a chisel to undo the large securing pin of the fuel pump, disconnect the power terminals and the liquid circulation hoses.

Extract the floating fuel pump from its housing along with the attached parts. Install a new pump in the tank (with all the attached parts) and refit it under the vehicle.
