A common fault is the noise from the alternator pulley, which manifests as a distinct squeaking sound: keep in mind that removing the pulley requires a special tool. If there is sufficient space, you can replace this pulley directly on the vehicle without removing the alternator: for the specific vehicle in question, you can achieve this by removing the side engine support. However, the video demonstrates the removal of the alternator, which must be done by first disconnecting the battery, removing the auxiliary belt by loosening the tensioner, and then proceeding to the actual disassembly. Once the alternator is on the bench, proceed with replacing the pulley using the special tool. Reverse the process for reinstallation on the vehicle.
