Disassembling the Windscreen Wiper Mechanism

The wiper motor mechanism consists of a motor and a lever system that rotates the wipers. This mechanism is located beneath the plastic cover directly under the windscreen.

Start by removing the wiper arms by unscrewing the respective fastening nut. It is advisable to mark the angle of the wipers with a piece of masking tape on the windscreen. Then, remove all the pressure clips securing the plastic cover and rotate the screws at both ends of the cover counterclockwise by about ninety degrees.

Once the plastic cover is removed, unscrew the two fastening nuts and disconnect the motor's power connector to complete the disassembly.
