In order to reset the uConnect 8.4 system, you need to insert the ignition key into the ignition switch to turn on the instrument panel: once this is done, you can press and hold the central screen of the dashboard in the top right corner for about fifteen seconds. By continuing to hold the screen at this point, you will notice that the screen will automatically turn off and then turn back on after a few seconds: upon the new start-up, you will see that all infotainment settings have been restored.
