Open the engine hood and carefully remove the protective cover on the right side of the engine. Locate the motor retaining screws and with a size 10 ratchet wrench remove only two, being careful not to drop them into the engine compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the four connecting screws with the pump on the head of the motor. At this point, remove the last screws from the motor and remove it after disconnecting the electric cable. Before removing it, pay attention to the position of the coupling with the pump to reassemble the new one in the same position. Using a high quality black or gray grease, grease the shaft of the new motor before installing the pawl connecting to the pump. Place the coupling in the same position as the removed one so that it fits easily. Paying attention not to lose the gasket, reassemble the motor by tightening the head screws and then the sealing screws of the motor itself. Reconnect the power connector and replace the cover.
