The filter that prevents dust from entering the cabin of the Fiat 500 through the ventilation system must be replaced every fifteen thousand miles. To replace it, sit in the front passenger seat.

Unscrew the screw located between the two vents in the central tunnel panel. Once the panel is removed, you will find the filter cover mounted vertically near the bulkhead.

Open it and pull out the old filter, take the new one, check the airflow direction, and insert it by pressing on the edges. Close the cover, reposition the panel, and secure it with the screw.
