Operation of the Click Torque Wrench

The torque wrench is a special ratchet tool that allows you to adjust the torque value. The wrench indicates the maximum and minimum torque values, but it is advisable not to reach them, staying within the central range.
To set the wrench, unlock the selector held in place by the screw at the bottom, allowing you to move the arm. To increase the torque, rotate the adjustment collar to the right, setting it to the desired value, adhering to the stamped numbers. Once you reach the desired value, lock the screw at the bottom again.
The click torque wrench gets its name from the fact that, upon reaching the desired torque, it locks with an audible click.
The price of the wrench is proportional to its quality.
A long wrench is recommended for high torque values and vice versa.
Avoid using unnecessary extensions as they would alter the action of the wrench.
To tighten, for example, the wheel bolts, position the wrench and push down, applying your hands to the end of the wrench until you hear the click; the sound indicates that the set torque has been reached. Repeat the process for all bolts and re-tighten for safety those previously tightened.
At the end of use, it is advisable to set the adjustment collar to the minimum, so the internal spring does not become misaligned.
