In this video we see how to change the gear shift boot and lever of a Fiat 500: we find the boot like the one in the video on E-Bay with the code 202801974919 at a price of 19.90 euros + 6 euros for shipping. The boot must be removed by levering on the sides, as it is held in place only by clips: it may be difficult to remove it from the lever, but since we need to change it, we can cut it without hesitation. The problem is that the youtuber, while removing the boot, damaged the knob and had to change that as well. We leave it up to you to decide whether to also change the knob (there are all types and prices available online) or leave the original one. To remove it, we must pull it with some force until it comes off. To put everything back in place, we put on the boot, then the retaining ring, and finally put the knob back in place, and the job is done.
