In this video, see how to change the gaiter and gear lever on a Fiat 500: find the gaiter similar to the one in the video on eBay with code 202801974919 for £19.90 plus £6 for shipping. Remove the gaiter by prying it off the sides, as it is held in place by clips: it may be difficult to remove from the lever, but since you need to replace it, you can cut it off without hesitation.

The issue is that the YouTuber damaged the knob while removing the gaiter and had to replace that as well. It’s up to you whether to replace the knob (there are many types and prices available online) or keep the original.

To remove it, pull it off with some force. To reassemble, place the gaiter, then the retaining ring, and finally refit the knob, and the job is done.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
