How to change the front brake pads of a Fiat 500?

To change the front brake pads of a Fiat 500, start by lifting the front of the car with a jack and make sure it is well supported by jack stands to ensure safety during the operation. Once the wheel is removed, you will have access to the brake caliper. Unscrew the bolts that secure the caliper and carefully move it to avoid damaging the brake line. The pads are located inside the caliper and, with a little pressure, you can easily remove them. Before inserting the new pads, use a suitable tool to push back the caliper piston, ensuring the necessary space for the new pads. Insert the new pads into the caliper housing and reassemble the caliper on the disc, securing it with the previously removed bolts. After completing the installation, tighten the wheel securely. Once the vehicle is lowered, press the brake pedal several times to ensure that the pads fit properly.
